WELLBEING AT ALWAY PRIMARY SCHOOL
At Alway Primary, we place the utmost importance on well-being, recognizing that a child's ability to learn and a staff member's ability to teach are deeply connected to their mental, emotional, and physical health. Our holistic approach ensures that each individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
For our pupils, this means fostering a safe, nurturing environment where they can express their feelings, develop resilience, and build strong interpersonal relationships. We offer a range of initiatives such as mindfulness programs, peer support systems, and physical activities that promote a balanced lifestyle.
For our staff, we create a culture that prioritizes self-care and continuous professional development. Through wellness workshops, access to mental health resources, and a supportive leadership team, we ensure that our educators are equipped to model positive behaviors and create enriching experiences for their students.
