What happens if a child/staff tests positive for COVID-19?

The identity of the child/staff will remain confidential.

All parents/carers will receive a message by text saying a case has been identified in the school.

All pupils who need to self-isolate as a result will be informed. This message could come at any time during the day or evening

Public Health advice states that other members of your household do not need to self-isolate.

You should be particularly vigilant about your child’s health and if they display any coronavirus symptoms, you should ensure that they are tested as soon as possible.

You may receive a separate notification from the test, trace and protect team.

You will receive information about home learning from your child's class teacher via Dojo.
